To Ice or not to Ice an Acute Injury....?
I don't know about you but I have always been told to apply ice to an acute injury. I think most of us are familiar with the RICE acronym of Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation... but is this really the best course of action? Is there actually any science behind the use of Ice and its claimed benefits....?
